| History of Amtic Elementary School In the early days, the residents of Amtic send their children to Buang Elementary School of Tabaco, Albay (City) and Baligang Elementary School. Most entered school at the age of nine (9) years old instead of six (6) because of the far distance from school. Parents believed that their seven (7) year old children were too young to hike far distances. This gave birth to the inhabitants desire to have a school in their own barangay. Through the able leadership of the late Teniente del Barrio Alejandro Broqueza they were able to put up a school, hence the Amtic Elementary School was established.
